About Us
Expertise you can rely on.
Technically Excellent. Personally Approachable.
DerKanal.at is a successful family-owned company and has been one of Vienna's leading providers of professional sewer cleaning and sewer rehabilitation for private and commercial sectors for over 25 years.
Our range of services covers all necessary work: from prevention (e.g., backflow prevention) and rehabilitation to 24/7 sewer emergency service. Our goal is to bring your sewer or piping system into perfect condition and maintain it long-term.
Our core area for all services, including our 24/7 emergency service, covers Vienna, Lower Austria (Niederösterreich), and Burgenland. Furthermore, for planned deployments and larger projects, we are also available for you in Upper Austria (Oberösterreich), Styria (Steiermark), Carinthia (Kärnten), and Salzburg.
Our Philosophy: Responsibility for Sewers & Environment
Since our founding in the year 2000, we have pursued a clear vision: to bring cleanliness and transparency to an industry essential for the public good. We understand the sewer system as a crucial part of the environmental economy and see it as our responsibility to utilize the newest and most resource-efficient technology. Our goal is to manage wastewater efficiently and keep our valuable groundwater clean.
Our customers benefit from our expertise, the latest equipment standards, and proactive prevention concepts. These not only conserve resources but also save costs in the long term.

A Strong Team: Our Cohesion
We are convinced: true top performance only arises in a strong and motivated team. That is why we strengthen our togetherness through shared experiences away from the daily work routine. Moments like the annual summer party or joint company trips connect us, bring us together as the "Drain Force," and give us the energy for the daily deployment with our customers.
A Matter of the Heart: Our Social Commitment
Social commitment is a matter of the heart for us. That is why we support selected charity projects every year. One example is our 2024 Christmas charity campaign, where we were able to collect and present €10,000 to the Vienna-based "Gruft." The "Gruft" is a well-known Caritas facility for homeless people in Vienna.
