On June 20, 2026 Thomas Stipsits dedicates himself to the musical legacy of Georg Danzer, who would have turned 80 this year. Stipsits, who has already dubbed Purkersdorf the "Vatican of Austropop," reinterprets classics such as Jö schau or Weiße Pferde completely anew with his top-class band.

On August 29, 2026, the journey through Austropop history continues. Boris Bukowski brings decades of stage energy and cult songs like Kokain or Fandango to Purkersdorf.
- Start at 7:00 PM: The exceptional artist Anna Buchegger opens the evening with her powerful voice and modern dialect sound.
- Main Act from 8:00 PM: Boris Bukowski & bunte Hunde presenting a legendary show with Austropop icons Thomas Spitzer (EAV) and Ewald Pfleger (Opus).
New Sounds: As part of the main program, Nino aus Wien and Ernst Molden also represent the modern Viennese scene on stage.
An Event with Tradition
The municipality of Purkersdorf has been organizing these open-air concerts in the main square since 2002. The fact that global stars like Bonnie Tyler and Suzi Quatro have already performed here underscores the importance of this concert series. For those who can't be there live: ORF NÖ broadcasts the concerts on the radio, and the August concert will be broadcast on ORF3 on August 30th at 9:00 PM (delayed).
